Art in the Community

Art in the Community provides Lafayette secondary students with structured opportunities to use public art as a vehicle for social change. With the support of professional artists, participating students acquire fundamental skills while developing public art pieces that seek to generate awareness about community issues. At least three Art in the Community workshops are held annually. During the spring 2018 semester, participating students will develop a permanent mural for the Boulder Ridge MHP community and develop a separate mural to generate awareness about teen mental health issues.
