Dream Chasers Mentoring Program

Tapping into best practices in positive youth development, Dream Chasers seeks to empower local
youth to uncover and ultimately advance their respective self-interests and personal and academic
goals. Skills-building workshops, recreational activities, mentoring, and homework assistance are
integrated. Dream Chasers, which currently meets at Angevine Middle School (1150 W. South Boulder
Road) after school during the academic year, is supported by a team of high school mentors and college and graduate students. Prosocial activities are also coordinated for Dream Chasers’ participants and other secondary students during school breaks.
